The short version: be honest in the forms, and treat prices as a starting point.
These terms cover use of this website. Management of an Owners Corporation is governed by a separate written agreement with that Owners Corporation.
1. Using this site
You may use this website to learn about our services, contact us, request quotes and certificates, report maintenance, and download the resources we publish. Don't use it to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading material, or to interfere with the site or its forms.
2. Pricing and proposals
Package prices and the fee estimator on this site are indicative. They depend on the number of lots, the state your plan is registered in, and the building's needs. A binding fee is only the one set out in a written proposal or management agreement signed by both parties.
3. General information, not advice
Content on this site is general information about Owners Corporation and strata management. It is not legal, financial, or building advice, and it does not take account of your circumstances. Legislation differs between states and changes over time. Seek advice specific to your Owners Corporation before acting.
4. Forms and uploads
When you submit a form you confirm the information is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it, including any documents you attach. We may decline or delete uploads that are not relevant to the request. Do not send passwords, card numbers, or identity documents unless we have asked for them through a secure channel. Emergency maintenance should be reported by phone, not through the website.
5. Certificates
Owners Corporation certificates are issued under the relevant legislation and the prescribed fee applies. A request through this site is a request, not an order; we will confirm the fee, the timing, and the recipient before issuing.
6. Intellectual property
The text, design, drawings, and downloadable resources on this site belong to Engineered Strata Pty Ltd unless stated otherwise. Committees and owners may print and share the resources for their own building's use. Please don't republish them or remove our name.
7. Links to other sites
We link to official resources and other sites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
8. Liability
We take care to keep this site accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of this site or reliance on its general content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this site.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute about them is subject to the courts of Victoria.
